The question that the other voice (Philosophical Me, the more reasonable of the lot) demands a explanatory answer to is “why? why do this?”
Normal Me responds without vocalising the maelstorm of thoughts – “because we are getting old and the kids must believe that daddy can be cool too…”
“fair enough” – a response from Underworld Me that surpassed belief and left Normal Me unable to expound on the theme. Was getting ready to convince using elequence, tautology, sarcasm, tears, blood or whatever else could be required to get MY way.
Now we need to get used to capturing the maelstorm in a way that people out there can appreciate without them calling in the straight jacket squad…
